Group Work, Low Engagement
- Clear a large space in the center of the room. Have students sit or stand to the side.
- Explain that this activity involves standing and linking arms. Students can use a chair, only touch hands if they would prefer.
- You can start or choose one student to start (Person A). Say “I have a link with people who…” and name an interest or favorite thing. One person (Person B) who shares that interest/favorite thing should come and link arms with Person A. Now Person B says “I have a link…”
- Continue until every person in the room is connected to the chain.
